My name is Mercedes, but people call me ‘Mechi’. I’m an illustrator, character designer, and creator from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I’m a ♊ with a rising ♉ so curiosity, passion, and perseverance are three of my main qualities when approaching a project ✨.

I love to work on projects about:
Magic: Fantastic universes and characters as well as esotericism.

People: Characters from different races, genres, and sizes because inclusivity is one of my main priorities.

Slice of life: Situations and characters that showcase coming of age.

Nature: Plants, forests, the sea - nature itself and environmental care.

My current services include illustration for publishing and editorial projects, illustration for brands and product promotions, character design, and surface pattern design for textile and stationery projects.

When I’m not drawing, I enjoy listening to music, watching K-dramas, and petting my cat, Mila, until she’s sick of me 🙃.
